The book of Deuteronomy is three sermons Moses gives to God's people as they are about to enter into the promise land. These sermons call them to remember what has been, regulate them for what is, and call them to rely on God in the journey ahead. What do you want for your family? Safety? Provision? Joy? With God being our Father, it should not surprise us that he too wants something for his family. As God continues to train his people in the wilderness, a series of stories shed light on the heart of God for his family. He desires a faithful, blessed, and victorious family. This is the family God is creating. This is the family he is inviting you into through Jesus Christ.

S2 E15: Three Failures of Faith

Numbers 13-21.
After everything the people of God have seen in the Exodus event, they still choose to reject God when tested the wilderness. In a series of three movements, from the people, to the priest, to even Moses, the people of God stop believing in God. This lack of faith keeps them from the fullness of life God is ready to freely give them. For them, like us, fullness of life only comes through a life fully marked by faith.
