Genesis 10-11.
What happens when mankind tries to build paradise apart from God? In short, we create hell on earth. Babel is an anti-Eden account, a complete reversal of God's desire for mankind. Where we build our little sandcastles of success and security, God invites us into his eternal salvation and kingdom where Jesus reigns forever.

Two men. Two paths. Two choices. Two very different outcomes. In Genesis 4 & 5, we see what becomes of humanity once they leave the Garden of Eden. The story focuses in on two brothers. Both are given a choice either trust God or trust themselves. From their decision, we see two very different legacies. This leaves us with the question: which path will we take?

S1 E12: The First Gospel

Genesis 3:7-24.
What does God do when he walks in on utter sin? Many believe that God would erupt in anger or grow distant in apathy. Yet God does... what only God would do. In the midst of utter sin and chaos, God moves towards the brokenness. In Genesis 3, we see God's response to mankind's sin. He draws man out. He ask questions. Ultimately, he declares a promise that he will send a hero to make all things right again. In this episode we explore God's response to sin then and his response to our own sin today.

At the height of shalom (the way it should be), mankind was fully connected with God and one another. In chapter 3, however, a new character is introduced... the chaos creature. In a few subtle statements, this serpent  deceives mankind into choosing life outside of God.  His tactics have not changed. So in this episode, we will study the tactics of our enemy so that we will be able to better resist him in our own lives.

Genesis 2:4-25.
What does it feel like to be "at home"? Calm. Peaceful. Restful. Joyful. When asked this question, people end up describing Eden. The Garden of Eden was where God’s space and humanity’s space overlapped. God's desire was to create a world for his image bearers to thrive as they co-created with him forever. As we look into Genesis 2, we see the ultimate picture of the world that was meant to be. A place for our souls to be at home with God.
