Proverbs and Proverbial Literature.
God has woven a rhythm into this world and calls his people into it. And yet, this world is broken with the rhythm often feeling out of sync. So how do we walk in the wisdom of God in the midst of brokenness around us and within us? In this episode, we discuss how to approach the proverbial literature found in the Scriptures. Working through many of the principles found in Tim Keller's book, "God's Wisdom for Navigating Life," we see that proverbial literature is poetry, principles, puzzles, and meant to be pondered. All of this points to Christ who "is the wisdom of God."

If you ever wondered what was on the mind of Jesus throughout the day... odds are it was one of the Psalms. Jesus quotes the Psalms more than any other book in the Old Testament. It was the soundtrack of his life. So if we are to think like Jesus, then we need to tune in to the songs of Jesus. In this episode, we take a closer look at the book of Psalms. As we unpack Psalm 1 & 2, we get a window into how to see our story and THE story we are truly living in.
