We live in a cultural context that emphasizes two major spiritual disciplines: read your Bible and pray. However foundational both of these are, the Bible actually calls us to other means to connect with God. In this episode we explore a variety of ways to connect with God such as meditation, silence and solitude, rest, worship, and a whole lot more.

Deuteronomy.
What would you say if you only had one last message to give to people you love? That is what Moses does in the book of Deuteronomy. The book of Deuteronomy is three sermons Moses gives to God's people as they are about to enter into the promise land. These sermons call them to remember what has been, regulate them for what is, and call them to rely on God in the journey ahead. In this episode, we share our main take aways from "listening in" to his final words.

Numbers 21-36.
What do you want for your family? Safety? Provision? Joy? With God being our Father, it should not surprise us that he too wants something for his family. As God continues to train his people in the wilderness, a series of stories shed light on the heart of God for his family. He desires a faithful, blessed, and victorious family. This is the family God is creating. This is the family he is inviting you into through Jesus Christ.

Numbers 13-21.
After everything the people of God have seen in the Exodus event, they still choose to reject God when tested the wilderness. In a series of three movements, from the people, to the priest, to even Moses, the people of God stop believing in God. This lack of faith keeps them from the fullness of life God is ready to freely give them. For them, like us, fullness of life only comes through a life fully marked by faith.

Numbers 1-21.
When God wants to train his people, he often brings them into the wilderness. What was meant to be a few week trip from Egypt to the Promised Land, turned into 40 years of training, trials, and testing in order for the people of God to walk in faith and trust in God. God always requires active faith to walk in the fullness of life. This was true of them and it is true of us today.
