God walked in the garden in the cool of the day "as was his custom." God's presence permeated the place he made for his people. And yet, humanity believed that our near God was actually distant. Instead of rejoicing in God with us, we reached to be our own gods. Even in this moment, God's immediate response was to make a promise for his presence to continue with us until it would find its home once more within us.

Thanksgiving Lectio Divina

Lectio Divini is an ancient practice of engaging with God through his word. It consistent of:
Reminding yourself of God's presence.
Reading a short passage while reflecting on what word, idea, or phrase the Spirit of God is highlighting for you.
Responding to what the LORD is inviting you into by faith.
In this Lectio, we are looking at Psalm 103 in order to train ourselves for a life of thanksgiving. We will give several prompts throughout and create space for you to respond to the LORD.

Storyverse Podcast has doubled in size in the last few months, with listeners tuning in from across the world.
Our Institute program is now in multiple churches, impacting dozens of staff members, key leaders, and residents—and impacting all the people they serve.
Our App has been downloaded nearly 700 times, with a growing number of people subscribing to the Lay Institute and Ministry Residency. 
In order to continue these resources at a free or significantly discounted rate, we’re praying for $50,000 in additional support to help us continue expanding these efforts—developing new content, equipping more people, and reaching more hearts with the story of Jesus.

The Chalcedonian Creed

"When God sent his savior, he sent himself. Jesus's claim on divinity is also a claim on our lives. We will either receive him or reject him. There is simply no in between."
