S1 E3: The Story You Are Living In

In this episode we explore the story you are living in... or the story you think you are living in. Every person must ask and answer 5 foundational questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What is wrong with the world? What can be done to fix it? Where is all of this going? How we answer these questions shape the story we tell ourselves about God, ourselves, and the world around us. The Bible not only gives the right answer, but a better answer. Regardless of what story you think you are living in, Jesus is inviting us into a bigger and better story.

Before we dive into the Scriptures, we need to know what the Scriptures actually are. In our modern day, many approach the Bible in a way that it was never designed to be read. Rather than letting the Bible be what it was meant to be, we end up reducing the Bible down to what we want it to be. In this episode we will explore 10 things that the Bible is and the Bible isn't. Once we orient ourselves to the Scriptures, then the story will come alive like never before.

Jesus meets us where we are at in order to reveal to us who he is. No matter your background, Jesus invites us on a journey into a bigger story. In Luke 24, Jesus reveals himself through his word, his sacrifice, and ultimately himself. When Jesus enters your story, he changes your story.
